This Wiki is a resource for all people interested in urinary tract and bowel function and dysfunction. It draws together terminology and other resources, giving current agreed definitions. It also provides a perspective and enables all stakeholders to provide comment and participate in debate.

The definitions in ICS terminology reports have generally been written to be compatible with the World Health Organisation publication ICIDH-2 (International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health) published in 2001 and ICD10, the International Classification of Diseases. As far as possible, the definitions are descriptive of observations, without implying underlying assumptions that may later prove to be incorrect or incomplete.
